Might not quite be viral, but I have a video on my YouTube page that got over 9 thousand hits yesterday. And, today it's going crazy, too - but I can't get accurate numbers yet. Maybe they featured it on Regis and Kelly?

It pays,, haha, since August the ad revenue has paid me almost a buck fity or $150 - yeturday it was a whopping 13 bucks, today I'm at 5, so far. It is building -- it's not going to retire me, but I'm going to buy $500 savings bonds for my son once I get that much. I can't control what ad's they use though, that is the only bad thing. I saw a dildo one there the other day,, just KIDDING!!!
Amazing, only in America. ;)
I don't know what is more amazing -- that they pay me, that people click on the ad's, or that I can make money from those video's.

But thousands or possibly millions of youtube videos with misleading titles and thumbnails mean $ for members, $$ for advertisers, $$$$$$$ for Google.

Now I can see why, over 5,000 of those hits come from (clickthroughs from a related YouTube video) another YouTube video about the Marine who was murdered in Pima County. If you look on the right my video is the fourth or fifth one down.

Nice head shot!
The person who actually made that shot was a Marine Sniper in Vietnam. A very accomplished man, humble as apple pie, but deadly. He's got a few more notable SWAT kills on his belt - pretty impressive. :usmc:
You could also attribute it to the CoD/Youtube generation and the fact that "Sniper" is in the tag line.
Great vid though.
