This is what I did today, instead of sleeping from work. It was my honor to escort, as part of the United States Marine Corps Historical Company, Colonel Wesley Fox, MoH, Vietnam, in his duties as Grand Marshal of the Veterans Day Parade in Manassas, Virginia.
I am awed, and humbled to have had the privledge to not only escort Colonel Fox, but to have my picture taken, and to have a few moments just to 'shoot the breeze' with him.
I am happy to report that Colone Fox was, literally, mobbed from the time he arrived on site, by both military and civilian admirers.
Colonel Fox graciously allowed us to have our picture taken with him to commemorate the occasion.
(I'm the ugly guy on the far right of the photo LOL).
