Yep. Graduated today (or yesterday since it's technically saturday) from MCRD SD. 3 months of fun in the sun. As my username suggests, I had homefield advantage and raced home to grab a California burrito or two. I'm just sitting at home, catching up on everything that happened in the world, grubbin on some leftover carne asada fries and drinking a Dr. Pepper. Good to be home. Hoping one of the admins can change my profile to Marine as well? Poolees, let me know if you got any questions about the challenge you are about to embark on, I'll be glad to help you out.

Oh yeah, my ship date was actually brought up a week early so I shipped out July 25th, not August 1st. So I graduated on October 21st as a result. On boot leave right now, go to MCT next week. As for what I thought about boot camp.... eh... it was... different ;)

Not that I recall. Hotel Co. was close to 600, and I know for a fact we had no Fisher in our platoon. Who knows, maybe I might have bumped into him. He was MCRD SD right?
