Marine's Daughter

I am looking for people who were in the Marines at Camp LeJeune and Pt. Cherry, N.C. between 1962 and 1965. My Dad's name is Vaughn Raymond Surprenant. He also played the saxophone in the band in Pt. Cherry, I believe. Does anyone out there know him??? He is having a surprise 70th birthday and I thought I would surprise him with maybe some videos of people he knew back then or would be willing to visit in NY. My Mom does not even know this, nor my sisters. I would like to get info and give it to my Mom and sisters. My Dad is SO proud of being in the Marines and has made a success out of himself. He is now retired but still gets asked for his advice. He is a GREAT guy and I would really like to know more about him back then also! I think he and all members of the military are TERRIFIC and deserve every goodness that could ever come to them!!! PLEASE help me! Thank you,
