Average wait to ship to boot?

I waited six months when I joined; I've heard from poolees back home that it's around nine months now. Sucks; I would have gone crazy waiting another three months,

I waited a whole year... but then again I had to wait for school to finish up... I'd say it's about 6-9 months depending on your recruiting station etc.

My wait is 7 months. Most of the other poolees are 7-10 months unless they are in school. Then most are 12 months.

That's really a long time. No wonder poolees have many questions in the meantime, you can't help but begin to ask questions, then more pop up.
In the old days you joined, and within a week you were on the yellow footprints, no qustions to ask, just go.
