Just want to know what cars my fellow poolees drive and will be leaving behind when they ship. I drive a 2004 Saturn ION-and personally i will be glad to finally not have to drive around that thing (Will be running instead;)). No antenna (I get two stations), melted crayon stains on passenger seat (purple if your curious), sticky EVERYWHERE, everything inside is plastic,it has no button to pump the trunk so I make my passengers hold their **** so i don't have to turn off the car and go back and open it. and i think something died in the trunk because it's torn up and smells horrid. The last owner must have also ****ed of some people because their are some obvious key scratches on sides Plus this is the color

*Pic from google not my car*

Eh man be thankful you have a set of wheels right now that works. Lol Saturns are ugly as **** though.

I have a 95 Buick Crapmaster *Roadmaster*, I wasted a ton of money on it and it sits now with a problem I can't diagnose it due to the problem being some where in the eletrical lines from the relay fuse box to the electrical plug in in the rear of the car.

I replaced this engine this year which was 2100, transmission which was 1600, whole abs braking system which was about 1000, ignition system with a new optispark wires and plugs which was 700, I have suspension parts I have yet to put on that total up to 1150, just recently bought the whole sha-bang for the fuel delivery system *pump, sending assem, strainer* which I about 500* and this is where the problem lies since I can't get power back to the assembly.

No heat, no ac, only I can control the windows so the summers and winters suck.

I'm posting from my phone so ill post a pic later of it sitting on bricks. Can't wait until I come back from boot so I can buy something new and leave that gold digging money sucking cash blowing black hole the **** alone.

Boy after reading some of your guys problems i'm kinda glad mine at least still drives. The only thing that broke with mine was the power steering so it was a pretty good workout trying to turn the steering wheel. I wonder how long it takes to save up to get a decent car in the marines because the only good cars I've seen marines drive are the ones given to recruiters lol.

'02 Subaru Outback Wagon

It has no horsepower but I have yet to go somewhere, on or off road, that will get it stuck. That is also including 3 winters in Syracuse. I'm actually selling it before I go in, and will be sad to see it go.

The driver side door doesn't unlock from the outside, the passenger side handle is broken and requires a wiggle to open (I just keep it unlocked and take my stuff with me in my travel backpack). My hand cranked windows sometimes require a wiggle to roll up. No A/C, but a pretty good sub in the back. Sometimes the engine will cut out if i stop to hard, lol. And the brake fluid leaks, so I gotta top it off like once a week. And I got my hula dancer on the dash:phttp://farm7.static.flickr.com/6167/6163539661_98343065f0.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/67699124@N07/6163539661/)http://www.flickr.com/photos/67699124@N07/6163539661/in/photostream

Just noticed: You can see my reflection above the back wheel!

For me its a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. Fun car and runs great so I am just going to keep paying for it while in Boot, MCT, MOS School because honestly when I come to my Reserve Unit it would be more complicated to sell it and have to buy another car.

It also serves as a 4x4 tent when I go camping, something I have become very thankful for when it is 30 degrees outside haha.

I had a Buick Park Avenue Ultra until the tranny went out a few months ago. that car was a beast 3.8 supercharged V6, it would fly. heres a video of it if anyone wants to see it and hear the exhaust...

Haha thanks, Yeah my dad and I swapped a 16v out of a passat and put in a close ratio 5 speed in it from a scirocco
It about doubled the Hp which still isn't much but going from like 78 to 130-140ish is quite the gain
It's definitely a fun car to drive

I've got a pretty sweet 1993 Volvo 240 station wagon. I've sunk more money into that POS than it's worth. The rear hatch is falling off, the radio doesn't work, but it rolls so I'm happy with it.

'95 Jeep Cherokee. so much fun in that thing back all through highschool. the wiper on the rear window was non existant, so when you hit the "wash" button it squirted wiper fluid 9 ft straight back... soo much fun.

TWO CARS! Wish my daddy was rich.;)

Haha no, my parents don't spoil me.

The camaro I bought 100% in cash right after test driving it, I also pay all of the insurance, gas, maintenance, and repair for it.

The mustang my parents bought in 2008, I have contributed towards the payments of the car and I also pay for gas and insurance on it on top of doing all of the oil changes, cleaning it, and taking it in for regular maintenance. Because of that (me paying for part of it and taking care of it) my parents let me have the car for my junior and senior year of highschool and now until I ship out.

So yeah, I put out a lot of hard earned money to drive both of my cars and it is completely worth it. Once I leave the stang goes to my parents and the camaro goes to my little brother, when I get back I intend on buying a hayabusa or a c5 vette.

'89 Z71, was my baby for about 4 years. Bought it when I was 15 and added the 6" Pro Comp suspension lift and some 35x17 Nitto Trail Grapplers. Got some crazy looks driving around town, since I'm a 5'3" girl. Not the greatest picture I have of it, but you get the point.

Ended up selling it since gas prices are ridiculous, and now I drive a little '03 v6 mustang.

Haha yeah I know, cars are fun and all, but you can really get a good adrenaline rush on a fast bike. The only reason there is any debate at all between a busa and a c5 is because I live in FL and it rains ALL THE TIME during certain parts of the year so a bike isn't always practical (bikes + rain = no fun lol).

You're parked illegally...

I drive a boat. Not literally, but my Chrysler Concorde may as well be one. Drinks gasoline, and has had more problems than it's worth, but she's reliable even in these harsh Chicago winters. Warm season calls for pullin' out my baby, the '81 Suzuki GS750L, nothing like rolling down the highway on a classic hog you've spent all winter to keep running.

Lol I didn't even notice that. Oh well its my community pool parking lot, I don't remember the last time I saw someone in a wheelchair trying to get into the pool :)

You should post a picture of your bike, I just looked up that model on google and most of them look pretty sweet.

Here she is, not too bad considering she wasn't even running when I got her in April. A chunk of change and massive amounts of elbow grease later, she's shining and running beautifully. This winter's when she gets a new paint scheme.

That thing is sick, I really wish I had a bike they look like a lot of fun to drive.
Just out of curiosity since a few people on here really like their cars, is anyone going for Motor-T as their MOS? I am going to get same job school as Motor-T guys and getting certified for the same vehicles, the only difference is I stick around an extra few months and get certified for LAVs and LVSs also. Sounds like a fun job, except that the job school is in Missouri so there is going to be nothing to do in free time lol.
