When was the Crucible first implemented in Boot Camp? I know it wasnt called Crucible in the early 80's.

I Graduated in 1996 and there was no crucible, but it was about to start. I would say late 1996 to early 1997 but i cannot remember.

As far as I know it came into effect in 1996. I just know its 54 hours long and it was Hell when I went through it in 2004.
