Julie Krone aboard Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies winner Halfbridled.
It's been a real 'Ladies Day' at the Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships at Santa Anita so far, with longshot Adoration winning the $2 million Distaff, Six Perfections beating the boys in the $1.5 million Mile and jockey Julie Krone aboard favored Halfbridled taking the $1 million Juvenile Fillies. Krone's victory made her the first female jockey to win a Breeders' Cup race in the event's 20 year history.
Now, I've never been on a horse before, but I did buy a cowboy hat early last year, but none of the jockeys are wearing cowboy hats.
And, who names these horses?
