I would like to be a Marine linguist and the language that I would prefer would be German which is a 2758 MOS because I have a German background and have studied it heavily over the past few years. I know that getting those types of European languages is rare and if I make it to DLI I more than likley will not be given German. More like Russian, Arabic, or something like that. I was just wondering how to go about eventually getting German at some point in my Marine Corps career. Also I read that the 2758 MOS is a type of "EMOS" which I'm not really sure what that is. I'm guessing that it stands for and extra MOS besides your main one. That being said any input from experienced Marines would be greatly appreciated!
