I've signed up for the Reserves and plan to attend college while in.
I want to attend college in my home state. The main (if not only) reserve battalion in my state is the 6th Engineer Support Battalion.

I'm wondering if anybody knows what sort of MOS's make up this battalion? My recruiter told me combat engineers, but from the description of the unit, they didn't sound like typical combat engineers.

Hmmm..interesting question. Do they have a public website? You might try googling them and see what comes up.

What comes to mind for me are the following:

Admin
Intelligence
Truck driver
Mechanic
Generator operator
Tracked vehicle crewman
Tracked vehicle repair
Combat engineer
Facilities (plumbers, HVAC, etc)
Supply
Landing Support

I'm sure I've missed a few.

They do have one but I'm having a tough time finding the company composition, only the battalion composition appears to be available.
I will probably be requesting Combat Engineer or Intelligence then, depending on my ASVAB scores. Thank you very much Sergeant.
