I was wondering if any of you present or retired Marines were Oath Keepers? If any of you were or are Oath Keepers during your tours did it effect you at all or did your fellow Marines treat you any differently?

I was thinking of becoming one, but I wouldnt want huge repercussions coming as a result.

Incase some of you who are not familiar with this term.... http://oathkeepers.org/oath/ theres a link to what it is all about.

Ok...this may not be what you want to hear but I'll say this....

If I were you, I would concentrate on study and preparing yourself in mind and body for what will be expected of you as you enter boot in November.

I will not comment on the site you refer to.

That's my take on it.........good luck.

No. And as was mentioned, stay away. Make your choice after you have been around awhile.

I am not commenting at all on the Oath Keepers thing. All I'm going to say is its your choice, and your choice only. I agree with some of the others. Get through boot camp first though. But I'm not commenting on the Oath Keepers.
