I am wondering if any of my fellow Marines out there know if a Bulk Fuel Specialist 1391 promotes up pretty fast.

How is the MOS?

is it rewarding?

Why don't you just stop being so lazy and go look at the cutting scores for it over the last year and make a decision for yourself. Better yet stop being so worried about promotion and just work hard at what you do and just be thankful your even aloud in this gun club.

Go on the marines.mil manpower page, and there's an option to see every MOS and its current score for Corporal. Besides a couple of new MARSOC spots, there are a few I remember seeing that were still in the 1400's.

But if you're so focused on lat moving, you might want to shoot for something you actually want to do that you know will be fulfilling. If it's something you take pride in doing well, then you'll probably pick up on your own merit, rather than because you have an MOS with a low score. I know I'd rather be a Lance in my MOS now than a Corporal or Sergeant whose whole job is to pick up poop or something.

dislike when marines feel they done it all to put their brothers down, fairly new to the marine corps still know we fight for the marine to the left and right of us ... I am a bulk fueler our cutting scores are low you can be a staff nco within 6 years nd can work in the air wing providing fuel for Cobras Huey's nd all types of aircraft but in my opinion wouldnt lat move here

this is a 4 year old thread there killer.

yes you are an active duty bulk fueler but you are in no place to be commenting on promotions/cutting scores for your MOS as new as you are. and SNCO promotions have nothing to do with cutting scores so saying one can pick up within 6 years is out of your scope of knowledge

you don't even wanna be a bulk fueler anymore anyway

why don't you worry about being a squared away Marine and proficient in your own MOS before you start spewing info about something you really know nothing about
