Whats goin on motivators?
Im Currently in school at Fort Sill OK working my way towards the MOS 0844.
If anyone has any questions about Arty, or OK ask away. I remember when I was trying to figure out what MOS to choose and there wasnt much about Arty, and not much about 084X's.

:!:Its 100+ degrees everyday. Your surrounded by disgusting soldiers (yeah it's funny until you get here). You get 2-3 hours of liberty daily and 12 hours on the weekends. You get no shade and stand in formation for at least an hour a day. If you still want to do artillery you've been warned.
I've been here 2 months and I'm still waiting to start class. Oh and they hand out NJP's and page 11's like candy. :flag:

Sounds like your whining. Just wait until you get in combat and then you will wish you were back at Ft. Sill.

Take it easy on Oklahoma. You may not like it, but I call it home. I'm not to far from Lawton and it's been a little warm but come on. It could be worse, Arty school could be in south Texas. It's a good 10 to 15 degrees hotter there.
I hope you don't cry this much when you hit the fleet.

0844 is my current scheduled MOS. Did you enlist under the CK "Fire Direction/Control Specialist" Contract?
What usually goes on for a "normal" day at ft. sill for an 0844?
