High School GPA is not a pre-requisite for Dep'ing into the Marine Corps. You may Dep on your senior year of High School 'But' You must complete your senior year and receive a High School diploma!

The only place you'll need to worry about your GPA is if you're trying to get accepted into OCS from college. While it says the minimum GPA is 2.0 in reality it's closer to 3.3. This from a friend whose son teaches NROTC and is active duty

How about filling out your profile for starters........ site rules, which can be found in the poolee and Ask A Marine forums.....so the Marines here know who they are talking to.

1.4 GPA is sucky. AND I see why. READ THE RULES, COMPLETE A PROFILE. Deleted until that occurs.

(Oh and my GPA when I graduated was 1.8....and look where I am!...)
