I need some help. I served with SSGT John R. Weyl who was killed in the Beirut Bombing. He is listed as a casualty but they do not say where he is buried. The VA does not list his name anywhere.
Can anyone help me find where John is Buried? I would appreciate it.

Have you checked with Central Records or with MCHQ they may help also VFW, Legion or DAV. Someone has to know how to find out where and when.

I tried the Find-a-Grave site, with no listing there. It is possible that his family had his remains cremated and they keep the urn at home or something.
I am one of his daughters, he is buried in Calvary Cemetary in St. Petersburg Fl.. If you are still looking :)

Dear dwb81.
I was a classmate of John during his time at Bishop Barry and graduated with him in 1968. Lots of riding around with him in an old pickup truck that he owned back then.
