So, as a proud Chieftain, once of the more intriguing sights at our school is the Vietnam Memorial we have to four former (one of whom was a Marine) students who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Vietnam War. It usually can be found with flowers and other friendly items around it. Unfortunately, age has affected it, and a recent influx of hippies have vandalized it. It saddens me to see it in this state. While it is still presentable, it should be more than just that. I was considering writing to some of our fine folks in Sacramento (sarcasm) and seeing if maybe some funds can be allocated to touch it up a bit, since our school is pretty much broke. Not asking for a lot, but it seems like the least we can do. The picture is much better in its original state, but the site seems to have restrictions on attachments. If you would like to see the hi-res picture, let me know and I'll email it.

So what do you guys think? Is it worth it?
