I was wondering if on the site are any other Goldstar families. More are there any former Marine Goldstar families. I posted yesterday that I am a former Marine and about a year ago I lost my son Cpl Nicholas Uzenski. I am struggling a little with the guilt of knowing he became a Marine to follow in my footsteps. I know he loved the Corps, I know I didn't pressure him into it but I still struggle with a little guilt. Can anyone relate? I know there are a bunch of former Marines who have had kids follow in there footsteps how did you feel? Thanks for letting me vent a little. I also wrote a song that I shared yesterday and would like to share again. A singer named Stephanie Quayle recorded it. It was written for the families that still have love ones in harms way letting them know we think about them and support them and don't want them to go through the hurt and pain.
