Marines and Poolees,
I have 16 days left until I ship out for Parris Island! I'm stoked and motivated! Just thought I'd give an update. If any Marines have any tips, it would be greatly appreciated. Are any other poolees shipping out 20110418?

But a good thing to keep in mind is to keep working out until you ship out. You don't do anything physical for the first few days at Boot Camp.

Thanks man. Ive always kept that in mind. Thats how a poolee is suppose to push others. You all will do great at boot camp. Not to mention look how far you've come and waited to be givin a shot at being a Marine. Push yourself and show em' what youre made of!

One of the poolees in my RSS told me how to check the grad dates so it looks like we're going to be in the same company. Hard to believe it's 11 days away. I'm pretty damn eager, but surprisingly not as nervous.

Good luck in Recruit Training, too bad you won't be participating in the field meet with many poolees around RSS Detroit and surrounding cities. Oh well, you will actually be in boot earning the title. As said, good luck to many of you who are shipping the same date as well.
