Im looking into the Army reserves, national guard or Marine Reserves....

My age is whats got me. I am now 27, with a family, and a job (cop).
I still have that void within me to do something more. I with Id have done it 10 years ago, but I cant go back, only forward.
I wanted army reserve infantry, however you cant do that, but you can in the guard.... So where does the marine corps come in? Well, to be able to call myself a marine.
How much difference if there in army basic and marine boot? As said, im 27, 5'10, 180. Been hittin the gym pretty hard for a few months...

Thoughts?

Also whats min. Enlistment active reserve?
