So, I've been looking over threads, and haven't found anything substantial enough for the question at hand.
What all do you have to go through in order to become a Dog Handler? I realize that once you choose your MOS field, in this case Military Police and Corrections, you cannot necessarily choose what you are going to do within that field, but I did hear that if you wanna be a Working Dog Handler, you must write an essay while at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. While training for your Military Police MOS, in order to attempt to go to the 12 week training school for those wanting to become Dog Handlers. So what it comes down too, how can I give myself self a better chance at becoming a MWD Handler?
