Yep, you would be a geo bachelor.

Would that be full BAH or partial? If so is the BAH based on where I am stationed on where my spouse lives?

Should be full, but you should hit up your S1 shop tomorrow. Not sure about the state.

Let me start from the beginning actually. I am currently not serving. I got out in 99, but am in the process of trying to get back in. So I just wanted to make sure if I do get back in that I can do/get both.

My fiance' and two kids can't come with me initially because of the housing market. We won't be able to sell our house for another year or two. So until then they would stay home and eventually come to where I am when we can sell the house. Obviously i ask about the BAH because i would need that to pay the house payment.

You will get BAH for your duty station, and it will be full BAH with dependents.

You most likely won't get your own room however. Barracks space in Hawaii anyway is packed, and as a Geo Bachelor I am currently living with a LCpl, in a room with no air conditioning or hot water.

I heard the general is coming by tomorrow...I can't wait...

I Don't mind living with someone. However I thought the BAH would be based on where your dependents are living not where your duty station is. That would suck.

For example if I am station in NC, their BAH is like 1000, but my family is in MD and the BAH for that area is 1900.

Well, suck for you it may.

My wife lives where BAH is $900, in Hawaii its $2050. I'm happy. ;)
