Just want to be honest...I am a navy veteran served on the USS Saratoga. I am a relative of a deceaed artist Edward Lott who made a bronze of IWO JIMA for his brother who served at IWO in WW11. I am reaching out to the marine vets who may have an interest in this bronze. It is a limited edition with only 5 in circulation. His work can be seen at http://www.swgallery.com/ (http://www.swgallery.com/) if anyone may be interested in this bronze I can send a picture via email and we will have this bronze posted at the gallery soon. It is a very detailed replica of the raising of the flag at Iwo. I can be reached at jtod@comcast.net. My thought is that only marine veterans would really have an interest in this bronze.

Regards,

Joe

I saw the Sara this past summer. She's was moored next to the Forestall in Newport. Not sure if she's still there

The Sara plan is to become a museum in R.I. I am looking forward to bringing the family to view this great ship.
