View Full Version : Losing weight yet keeping strength?

Hey Marines, I have a question... I don't really look or feel 'overweight', but I could stand to lose a few pounds of stubborn fat and some muscle mass. I played hockey in New England, so I did a lot of weightlifting for the sport and I want to lose some of the muscle mass. I do a lot of cardio and anaerobic exercise everyday, yet I was never hot about calisthenics in the past... but that's changing fast now that I am a Poolee. I'd like to know how I could LOSE the muscle mass, but keep the strength. My knowledge of how the human body works is pretty fragmented at best.

Try working. Sprints yes,,,,,, lifting, no.

Do your cardio and instead of weightlifting, go hard on the body weight exercises (pull ups, push ups, dips, etc.)
