If you are a Viet Nam "ERA" veteran who served anywhere, not just the Nam, or if you were vaccinated with an air gun injector, or if you got a tattoo back then, or if you had bucu sex on RR or in country, or if you fit any of the "risk factors" listed by the VA website at Hepatitis C then ask to be tested by the VA or wherever you can get this inexpensive test.

You see, Hep-C has no symptoms. You may have a dull pain under your right ribs, feel tired all the time, flu like. You may have normal AST/ALT liver function tests but still be infected with the virus. If so get tested because at least 1 in 20 veterans have HCV while 1 in 50 civilians are infected. more people will die from Hepatitis C complications in the next 10 years than from HIV/AIDS!

You owe it to yourself when the infection is at that rate and climbing.

Be well brothers,
