Lots of folks are eating big gobs of crow today! Frankly after the Yanks/Sox series I lost interest in the series. I settled for the last inning of the game last night. All I wanted to see was the Yanks get "B**ch slapped" in their own house. The rest was just a big ho-hum for me.

I agree. It is a true testiment to the marlins that they beat the Yanks and did it in Yankee Stadium. I respectfully bow and recognize that Florida beat my beloved Yanks. And while I was not cheering when the Marlins won, I'm sure the Red Sox were because finally some team did what they couldn't do --

I tell you, I was so glad when the marlins won. Not because I'm a fan of the marlins or because I dislike the yankees... Just that the sooner one team or the other won the sooner it would be over. Down side of it was, a lot of dead air this Sunday evening. Too bad they couldn't throw together a football game as quickly as they do those baseball games... but then, it does take time to prepare for a real sport.

The part I like best about post season baseball is that it means football season is in full gear and then I just start praying for sweeps so that I won't have to hear about baseball when my mind is on football....

Thank you marlins for making the season a little shorter - just wish ya'd done it in 4....
