I saw this trailer recently for Battle: Los Angeles coming out in March. At first, I thought that it was District 9, Part Deux. Apparently, some Marines from the 2nd BN, First Marines were included in the filming.

Some of the scenes were filmed at the aromry in Horno. I know a couple of 3/1 guys were in there.

the description of the second video said it was an army unit that was cut off. Was this a mistake or is it primarily about the Army unit and not Marines.

It looks pretty good. The only thing that might bug me through the whole movie is that they are flying 46s as opposed to the 22s but I know the transition is moving west so they still have some Frog squadrons out there. Overall graphics will be good and the storyline will make or break it.

Anyone catch this movie? The little lady is taking me to see it tomorrow.

I've heard that it combines elements of Independence Day, Blackhawk Down, and Saving Private Ryan, among other movies, into an entertaining clusterf%4k with great special effects.

I believe there's a topic on this in The Hooch.

I saw it. The action is pretty good, but the story is extremely cheesy.
