The homeless man that was recently given a job by the NBA team, Cleveland Cavaliers, for his "golden voice" apparently served in the United States Marine Corps.

Anybody on here know him?

I can't tell for sure. I do not know what the uniforms looked like in the 70's-80's. I will blow a photo up and post it.

The cover has what appears to be an EGA on it, but it's gold, which throws me off.

The EGA is the only thing that makes sense for the shape of them emblem on his cover. Unless it is an old ROTC photo.

Are you serious, that is an Army uniform,,, absolutely no doubt in my mind.

Just to quickly point out a few things....

1. Marines don't graduate in sun glasses, or take graduating pictures, assuming this is a grad photo. You don't get those high speed BCG's until you hit the fleet.

2. Where are his EGA collar emblems?

3. And the emblem on the cover is not an EGA. Standard issue U.S. Army.

I probably missed more, but that is not a Marine uniform.

This guy was never in the U.S. Marine Corps. If he was he wouldn't have lasted 10 seconds. The guy has b een on the streets for 10 years in Cleveland, has 9 kids, was hooked on any drugs he could...

I agree that it doesn't look like a Marine uniform, but I can't find any Army uniform that looks like that either. It almost looks like a hybrid.
