When you sign up as Enlisted Aircrew do you get to choose what aircraft you work on or does the Marine Corps choose for you. How does it work?
I had a buddy in boot who knew her was going to be on a helo crew, but generally you don't get much of a say.

Darn because i wanted to be a crew chief for hueys. Or if you grad top of your class during aircrew training do you have a choice?

First, it's 'Needs of the Corps'. Next it's likely class standing gets choice. However, check your Airframe Shelf life (best way I can put it) and choose wisely. If you pick a 'Frame that's about to be retired, or there are few of in the Marine Corps, promotions will be limited or frozen once you make Cpl. The more of the Airframe in the inventory, the more need for the people that work on 'em.
