Hi everyone! So on January 8th, I'll be going to the poolee validation so they can maybe give me a ship date for February. I'm really nervous about how it's going to go, and this poolee was wondering if any of you have done it already, would you tell me about it? Anything I should know?

I'd like to hear this too. I've never been to poolee validation and I have a february shipdate.

The pool validation is a recruiting tool to motivate poolees to PT harder and bring up IST scores and give them a better shot at shipping early. I've never actually been to a validation but I did my MOT-IST this morning at headquarters and I assume it's essentially the same thing.

Poolee Validation?? That sounds really interesting, is that "official" name for it, so if I ask my recruiters about it they don't make fun of me lol

As far as I know, yeah that's what it's called. I'm getting ready for mine as well. As far as I gather, we're asked a bunch'a questions by a Seargent Major. That's all I really know.

Thanks for the info Andrew.

It's a more supervised Poolee Function.

This is an old thread. A lot of those who posted are in boot camp or out..
