I know MARSOC is important, but what is it they actually do?

Let's stay on topic boys.
Alot of aspiring Recon guys come on and ask alot of questions about MARSOC, Recon, Snipers, etc.... I am surely not a duty expert, but can give you some advice... As a Marine who's been on Recruiting Duty for a bit, when I am asked a question, or am unfamiliar wth a subject, I no sh^t use g00gle... I'm sure at some point, a Marine is going to spot your post, and give you some good gouge, but in the meantime, g00gle it! And I think there's some stickies on the subject as well... S/F

The actual operators do alot of direct action missions. But marsoc is there own self sustained unit they have everything they need to function so if you want to get technical "MARSOC" dies just about everything.
