I think I saw the same electrical handwork at the Fillmore West during a Grateful Dead Concert. Can't say that it is traditionally religious in nature but it is fun. It would have been fun if somehow all the lights could have shown Santa Claus chasing a woman around the house, around the shrubbery and such.
