These guys were some of the best. Fierce fighters and extreme trainers who were afraid of nothing. Taught us how to live off the land in tropical areas and man do they know how to throw down. Anyone ever train with these guys? Share your stories.

We did a two week cross-training exercise with them for Balakatan 2002. They were heading over to Afghan right after and we formed a bond that was unbreakable. Traded some stuff with them and got a set of Philippino GySgt cammie utilities. Gunny Galam. One tough SOB.

I served with a Phillipino who was a Marine. In my time in the Philipines were still a common wealth and their citizens could be granted full citizenship through a hitch in the service. I think his name was Acaine, not sure of the spelling, he re-upped and got stationed back in the islands. That's when we still had bases there.
