Semper Fi to the Marine of Wisdom,

I am a Marine SGT from 1973-1979

I followed in my Dads foot steps to become one of the Few. My dad talked about Korea but not a lot. Speaking to my Aunt a few weeks ago I found out my dad was at Chosen. It explains a lot about my life with my dad. Now I understand he had post tramic syndrome. He stopped working when I was twelve year old and I never knew why. I would take day off of school to go the Doctor (psycologist ) and never knew what was wrong. We learned of the battle in Boot Camp of course. I thank the Commendant for dedicating this Birthday to those Marine. If anyone knew Sgt George Lynch from the Chosen Resivor let me know. HAPPY BIRTHDAY and Semper Fi

Daniel Lynch SGT USMC 1973 - 1979

I did the same. My dad was WW2, he was in 4th MarDiv in Iwo Jima and the pacific theater. He was in 4th Jasco - an early radar outfit. He was an operator. He died in 1977 at the age of 51. <br />
