Cell phone numbers being given to telemarketers, this or that rumor. www.snopes.com (http://www.snopes.com) will nine times out of ten say it is false and then will explain why. I myself have circulated much info to friends and family, only to find out two minutes later that Snopes says the info is false, and then it goes on to explain why. Sometimes the info is just plain untrue, sometimes it is true, sometimes it is a mixture of fact and fiction.
So for anything dealing with rumors of any kind, check out snopes.com ahead of time, it will save needless worry.

This morning my first customer of the day had a horse that was laying down in the stall and refused to stand, so i did not force the issue. Client explained that her gelding was just tired and depressed from a long week and therefore she was reluctant to call a veterinarian.

Could this be the cause for a horse to go "union"

I snooped around and detected bi-lateral excessive heat in the front feet accompanied by a bounding pulse. In the animals paddock was a Black Walnut tree with mashed and decaying organic material covering the ground.

Can standing on Black Walnut trigger an acute Laminitic episode?

Now that someone's signed up, what is the process for GETTING "satisfaction" from the FCC if some SOB violates or continues to call despite the No-Call signup?

Simple.

Do the following:

How to File a Complaint
You can file a complaint by e-mail (fccinfo@fcc.gov (fccinfo@fcc.gov)), telephone 1-888-CALL-FCC (1-888-225-5322) voice or 1-888-TELL-FCC (1-888-835-5322) TTY, by fax to 1-866-418-0232, via our electronic complaint form at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm (http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm), or mail. For the FCC to process your complaint you must either fill in the electronic form completely or otherwise indicate:
1)your name and address;
2)the home phone number where you received the solicitation;
3)identification of the individual or company whose products or services were being advertised or sold, and any phone numbers included in the call;
4)a description of the call;
5)any phone number provided to allow you to “opt-out” of future calls;
6)whether you or anyone else in your household gave the caller express prior permission to call;
7)whether you have an EBR with the caller (specifically, whether you or anyone else in your household made any purchases of property, goods, or services from the company that called, or made any inquiry or filed an application with the company prior to receiving the call).
If mailing a complaint, send it to:
Federal Communications Commission
Consumer & Governmental Affairs Bureau
Consumer Inquiries and Complaints Division
445 12th Street, SW
Washington, DC 20554

Good luck, especially in "navigating" #7. (Like, buy any electronic or mechanical appliance and sent in the warranty card?)
