Best Form of Flattery
By Jerry Shaffer | Published  03/1/2006
They say that the best form of flattery is imitation. If this is true then I must take great pride in what has been created at Leatherneck.com and even greater pride in all of the websites that imitate Leatherneck. In the past 5 years I have come across several Marine online communities. All of which have several resemblances to Leatherneck. I am sure there will be many more to come. Often imitated but never duplicated....Yes I do take great pride in that.

The Marine Corps has made a man out of my son. Now Kenneth Gregory is proud to have been a Marine.Flattery is a sense of people liking you & yet they want to make you feel good. Well....Marine Corp life & fellowship with other Marines has done this. Flattery is but a word....Marinie Corps leathernecks are what is happening! Can't get better than that!
