TWENTYNINE PALMS, CA., March 17, 2015 - Single Marine Program (SMP) is hosting the first of three Leatherneck events for the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, CA on Saturday, 18 April.

The “For the Leathernecks IV” program will kick-off with a UFC clinic from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the base gym. Professional UFC fighters such as Uriah Hall, Diego Sanchez, and Joe Lauzon will provide free mixed martial arts coaching and instructions to Marines and Sailors. To maintain more one-on-one attention during the clinic, the event will be limited to the first two hundred who pre-register. Registrations can be made online at tinyurl.com/ufcclinic-fightnight.

Registrants will receive a VIP access to the UFC clinic, a gift bag of SMP memorabilia, and early entry to the fight night viewing with a seating of their choice.

The event will cap off with a special viewing of the fight between Lyoto Machida and Luke Rockhold from 5:30 pm to 9:30pm at Sunset Cinema.

SMP strives to serve active duty Marines and Sailors through providing social and recreational activities while stationed in Twentynine Palms. This year, Single Marines and Sailors were given an opportunity to select the UFC fighters through a survey conducted by SMP.

For questions about the event, please contact the Single Marine Program at 760-830-4767.
